The U.S. government wants to restrict Chinese companies from selling telecommunications equipment in the United States

A few days ago, according to two industry sources, the trump administration, citing national security concerns, is preparing an order to restrict the sale of telecommunications equipment by some Chinese companies in the us. The move is likely to target Huawei and ZTE and limit their operations in the US. This move is likely to target Huawei and ZTE, limiting their business in the United States.

In addition, a White House national security principal spokesman said the move was not aimed at individual businesses, but was an important part of protecting critical infrastructure and national security and public security in the United States.

Under the policy atmosphere, major US operators and telecommunications companies have given up their cooperation with Huawei and ZTE, and even AT&T has given up its agreement with Huawei to sell smart phones in the United States.

After ZTE was banned by the United States, Huawei was also targeted by the United States.

According to informed sources from the government, the Justice Department, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Commerce of the three major US government agencies are investigating Huawei, Huawei has received administrative summonses from the US Department of Commerce and the Ministry of Justice. If adverse evidence of Huawei's illegal export is found, the US government may impose administrative sanctions on Huawei for commercial sanctions, even involving specific allegations.

The United States has officially intervened with China, wanted to clamp down on the development of China's 5G communications industry. As the world's largest network equipment provider and the third largest mobile phone vendor, Huawei is most likely to challenge the United States' leading position in the 5G communications era. Since Huawei officially expanded the US market in 2008, the U.S. government has stopped the Huawei's four major acquisitions, rejected the order of Huawei's 6 billion U.S. dollar worth of network equipment from Sprint, the third-largest operator, and prevented the business cooperation between major U.S. operators and Huawei.

The us government has used defense security as an excuse to crack down on ZTE and Huawei, It intends to suppress the process of China's 5G deployment and seize the commanding heights of 5G development.

The U.S. government made a counter-attack policy against ZTE and Huawei on the pretext of national defense security in order to suppress the process of China's 5G deployment and seize the commanding heights of 5G development. Other Chinese companies should not take a spectator’s mindset and need to reexamine themselves, speed up technological reforms, enhance their core competitiveness, and seize the door to development.
